Depart for Jinja City at 7am, with a stop at Griffin Falls Camp in Mabira Forest, Lugazi. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a brief from the head guide before heading out on a one-hour nature hike to Griffin Falls. Along the way, you might spot mangabey monkeys swinging through the trees. After the hike, enjoy an exhilarating zip lining experience across River Musamya; five zip lines stretching 250 meters, including a thrilling 78-meter ride. This is an adrenalin- rush, adventurous and fun filled activity that is great to do with family and friends. Have lunch and later embark on your journey to Jinja.
Next, continue to the Source of the Nile in Jinja. Take a boat ride on Lake Victoria to the spot where the Nile is believed to begin its journey to the Mediterranean. Afterward, explore the local arts and craft shops nearby.
Finally, meet your guide and head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel. You will then head out for your whitewater rafting adventure. Whitewater rafting on the Nile River is such an exciting and fun-filled activity. The activity is totally safe and you will be given safety gear and also assigned to an experienced guide who will accompany you throughout the activity. You can choose to do a half day or full day whitewater rafting activity. Later have lunch as you meditate on the beautiful scenery around.
You can also opt to combine your rafting activity with an optional bungee jumping activity. If you are an adrenaline junky, then this is the perfect sport for you. You will be jumping off a raised platform which is about 44 meters high.
